Hey hey hey… depending on where you live it's still hot AF. Fortunately for me it's not only extremely hot but super humid… okay so the humid part VERY unfortunate but thug life. So even though I am so excited for fall weather, it's nice to still be able to just throw on some shorts and sandals and walk out the house.
These Levi's shorts are by far my all time favorite. I reach for them over all others and I think they look amazing on every body shape and Size., also I just love all things high waisted. I wear these out dressed up slightly more and even to the beach dressed down.
Here I have paired it with a Zara off the shoulder shirt which anything off the should HELLO FRIEND… (how I feel about the whole off the should thing lol) and my black Jimmy Choo sandals. So comfortable and perfect when you are trying to beat the heat., plus a little leg never hurt anyone!!!!
Hey loves…honestly I have always been pretty athletic, and by athletic I mean… I've always loved to be active and moving. Don't get me wrong though…. I HATE the gym with a passion.. but you don't need a gym to be fit and healthy. Also, "fit" does not mean you are any less or anymore healthy then whatever a non "fit" person is lol. Anyway… I have heard for the longest time that when you buy new workout gear that you love it will motivate you to workout… so I figured I'd test the logic behind this!
I have loads of workout clothes but most my workout pants get used as leggings for daily use… you know, stuff other then working out haha!! (the shame). But this wasn't going to stop me from trying this maybe with a different mind set this time. So I purchased new Nikes and Workout clothes and you guyssssss… no lie.. it's true!!!! Couldn't wait to wear it the next morning to workout.
Okay so this is obviously because you are excited to wear your new items.. I don't know how much of this "motivation" is actually because your ass wants to workout haha but even if it's for one day, Then Hey… you freaking did it!
Conclusion: Buying new workout clothes DOES motivate a workout. How long that motivation last… well, that's questionable! But nonetheless…. start small and make daily progress and changes.
Hey guys.. if you have been following me for some time you know that Zara is the love of my life.. I mean I’ve always loved it but since living in Spain the past two years I have learned to adore it. Why? Well Zara is from Spain. The founder is Spanish and opened his first store in this country. That means that in every corner of Barcelona there is a Zara. Now, comparing Zara in the States to Zara in Spain.. world apart. Zara in Spain is half the price and has a much bigger collection with much nicer things and options. Zara in the States is double the price (since its not made in America) and doesn’t have the same quality goods… its almost as if they send all their crap left over to America. Trust me, I’ve lived through both and have much knowledge lol.
Now that my Zara rant has come to an end lol.. I love to shop affordable clothes. Yes, I splurge on shoes and bags (accessories) but when it comes to clothes I love to get high fashion for low cost and Zara makes this very doable. I have a small section in my closet with my Valentino and Chanel dresses but do I use them the way I do my Zara clothes, absolutely not. I prefer buying affordable so every season I can simply update everything without worrying to much about the thousands of dollars I’ve spent on the clothes.. ya feelz me? lol. Okay so, a few tips.. when buying on a budget.. get neutral colors. Colors that can be paired with more bold accessories and get things that can be worn in a few different ways. Stretch that dollar, thats what its ultimately all about. So, what I do is I buy white tank tops or black, tan, grey… so that way I can wear them with almost every kind of bottom.. and as far as dresses I do pretty much the same. Once those neutral colors are out the way then feel free to buy the colorful shit.
Wow.. this Zara rant came out to too long haha.. am I the only person who gets so into my thoughts and feelings I get side tracked and into a completely different topic lol. Side note and totally unrelated to the topic: its 8am and I’ve had the outside chocolate of 4 ice cream sticks.. ugh!!
okay.. Zara… so today I will film on my youtube Channel Sonya Sed , 3 looks under $100 for summer so tomorrow be sure to look out for that as I will try the clothes on and model my ass around for you to see!! But for now, below is 1 of those dresses that I got and it cost under $30 which is fantastic. This dress is so flowy and airy and can be dressed down with sandals or dressed up with heels and a nice red lip on a night out on town!!! Thats the type of shit you want to go for! 1 dress, two ways to wear it. Day AND Nights.
If you aren’t even a little bit excited about this new trend then you are just lost in the world. Let’s face it, who doesn’t LOVE wearing sweaters and sweatpants?!? Who!? Don’t get me wrong..I love glam and I am the jeans and T-shirt queen BUT a good pair of sweatpants!!! Yeah!
Loving this new trend does NoT mean I love how everyone is wearing it. The whole sweatpants with heels wear of this is just not my cup of tea. If I’m going to wear sweatpants that means I’m going to wear either Sandels, uggs.. or sneakers., but heels….da f*%#! Umm no. If a trend is allowing me to be comfortable with an excuses then you best believe I am going to milk that comfort level to all new heights…. right???
Yesterday my husband and I went to the local zoo, well the only zoo in Barcelona lol. And it was the beginning of Carnival festivities here in Spain so we both dressed down went on a 4 hour walk and had an epic cheat day (in regards to food duh). And when you add hours of walking AND hours of eating, you must break out the sweatpants.
Sweatpants are from Zara kids boy section. Top is Zara. Purse is YSL. And shoes are Nike.
I could not be happier that Spring is Springing along so quickly. Although it doesn’t look so sunny outside in my pictures it was actually pretty nice out. It’s been sunny all week and I am so digging it. If there is one thing I get sick of very very quickly, it’s carrying or wearing a heavy coat. Coats in my opinion are nice and can add a spiceiness to ones outfit but it’s always what’s underneath that counts… at least to me.
Transitioning into spring. I absolutely love sweaters. Not your typical gym sweater but a chic chasmere or knitted sweater top. For Spring season they are essential. They pretty much go with every pant type and is easily dressed up or down, which is Life!!!!
Today I wore a Zara sweater (comes in other colors as well), paired with high waisted Mango jeans, Zara Booties and Hermes Birkin 35 in black. I was warm and comfy and had my new short hair cut to compliment it all!!!
I will share more Spring fashion incorporating sweaters. Also guys.. never forget, it doesn’t matter how much money you spend on an item or what the brand is… it’s how you wear it and piece it together!!!! ❤
Ahhh yes. In fashion sometimes we take risks, sometimes we take pain and sometimes we just tumble and eat sh**…on the bright side of things however I got to wear my new platform shoes!
Typically I love mixing high end items with much more affordable items. I actually do this on a daily basis and it works so nicely that way. Sometimes to much of a brandy outfit just doesn’t look good…almost like you are trying to hard, yah know?! Example: A Gucci logo shirt paired with Gucci jeans with the visible snake stitch and Louboutins and that Louis Vuitton bag you just got. In my opinion that looks like you are trying way to hard. I personally Love making my less expensive clothes look expensive so when a random person says wow I love your top where is it from.. I can share where and how much I go it from, oh and tell them it’s still available so goooo get it!!!
This day I wore basically Zara from head to toe. Jeans and men’s sweater is by Zara as well as my new platform shoes, which I loved. Jacket is by True Religion and bag is Louis Vuitton. I love simple outfits that are comfortable with a hint of statement attached to it. And really I just dress my mood, which most people do.
The day was going great. My fashion photographer (a.k.a my husband) was taking my photo and I’m not sure how but I managed to roll down all those stairs.. get up and trip and fall again. Not only did I trip on my shoes because they are so clumpy but I was also gifted with a blister behind my foot the size of a golf ball… yea I’m still recovering from that blister!!! However, aside from all that fashion is about taking risks and risks sometimes come with pain and suffer or joy and glam. We cant always be winners!!!
Until my next tumble…XoXo
Hey guys… I have been doing quit a bit of shopping this past two weeks and out of everything I purchased my two favorites are surprisingly under 50€’s. They are literally things you can make look like you paid hundreds for and are things you can wear over and over again. To see what I am talking about make sure to watch my video below 👇🏽
You won’t be disappointed. You can thank me later haha but hurry so you can have a chance to get them as well before they run out!!!
Love you guys
Shopaholic: a person regardless of what their financial means are can not stop shopping under any circumstance, along with a euphoric, statisfying and calm feeling within all at once.
Okay.. So I made that definition up myself but when I think shopaholic realistically that’s not what I think. That definition was more the proper serious form. My own personal reference is…
Shopaholic: a person who loves new shit and is always determined to get what they want even if it means running through flaming hot MF Fire.
Haha much better! Okay well I have a great solution so you can also save your money while you make these sudden impulses. My sister and I have always loved the finer things in life. Pretty clear if you hadn’t already noticed. But… For us we liked to invest our money in staple items. Things you will buy once… It will last many many years and will always be in style. I am referring to handbags and the occasional shoe. However, when it comes to clothes we like to get the most for our buck. Well granted I’m a bit picky with my jeans but I’m talking IN GENERAL. I like to spend small money on clothes that stretch my dollar and can stay in my closet for long periods of time.
Well what to look for. You want to look for a decent quality. Honestly, my favorites are Zara and H&M. You can take the most ordinary clothing item from these places and make them look so rich. It really is a matter of how you style it. Also, look for things that are solid colors and things that can be worn tucked in, regular, with different type of bottoms and shoes. These things will keep the item in your closet for much longer…which is the point here right!!!?
These stores make it easy to find something in fashion and chic and still have left over money to put back into ur wallet.. Or as my sister and I like… GO EAT WITH IT!! Lol.
I got so inspired to write this when with 50€ (55-60$) I was able o get 6 tops and a pair of shorts all for summer at H&M. Honestly I was kinda shocked at the register. In a good way lol!! But I realized, wow why do people throw their hard earned money away for no reason. I have been guilty and once a while will splurge but for summer wear… Who gives a F**%.
P.S I will share the outfits when I wear them out.
H&M in Barcelona Below
Hey my loves… This tittle is NOT misleading lol… I mean maybe not better but along the same lines of amazing was. What am I talking about, (no it’s not food haha) but the PERFECT PAIR OF JEANS. YAAAAAAAS!! Okay so if you have been following me on social media I am as simple as it gets. I love the effortless simple chic look that looks classy and like you didn’t try very hard.. You know the model look! I have never been the type to follow trends.. Like this whole nude flow and crop tops [fucking fugly] and sports bra with leggings… Like calm down all you kim and Kylie wanna beez’, like I get you are inspired but just cuz you see it one someone else DOES NOT mean it needs to be done! Anyway, I have always loved a good pair of jeans. I own so many designer clothes and shoes and bags but I would trade my Hermes for the perfect pair of jeans! Okay, maybe not my Hermes but I wouldn’t be lying if I said getting an Hermes bag is just as exciting for me as finding the perfect pair of jeans. Like legit that tingle you get out of excitement… Ya that’s what it’s like for me haha. I just fucking can’t stand girls who “try” so hard. Penciling in their brows everyday, contouring, wearing colored hair?!? Like BE YOU, DO YOU! So nothing makes me happier than a simple perfect pair a jeans and a perfect cotton white t shirt. I feel like I am always on the hunt for the perfect white T and jeans lol. I seriously have SOOOO many jeans that sometimes I accidentally buy the same pair a few times over because I forget I already own it.
Point of the story.. Sometimes less effort is better. Dressing up is nice also don’t get me wrong but nothing screams classy chic more than a nice denim and simple shirt with flats and a bag. If you have a nice bag collection and flats or sandals then you are set!!!
My favorite denim brand is Rag and Bone. Their jeans just fit me perfectly cuz my waiste is a 24 and it has enough stretch and enough cotton that it makes the perfect combo. Also, I love Zara jeans (some of them…very picky cuz some look very cheap) and I love that they are so cheap you can wear them a few times and get rid of them!!!
Rag & Bone
These below are my favorite Rag & Bone pair of jeans. I wear these 24/7
Rag & Bone look through their collection to find your perfect pair (and no this is not sponsored)
