Hey loves…honestly I have always been pretty athletic, and by athletic I mean… I've always loved to be active and moving. Don't get me wrong though…. I HATE the gym with a passion.. but you don't need a gym to be fit and healthy. Also, "fit" does not mean you are any less or anymore healthy then whatever a non "fit" person is lol. Anyway… I have heard for the longest time that when you buy new workout gear that you love it will motivate you to workout… so I figured I'd test the logic behind this!
I have loads of workout clothes but most my workout pants get used as leggings for daily use… you know, stuff other then working out haha!! (the shame). But this wasn't going to stop me from trying this maybe with a different mind set this time. So I purchased new Nikes and Workout clothes and you guyssssss… no lie.. it's true!!!! Couldn't wait to wear it the next morning to workout.
Okay so this is obviously because you are excited to wear your new items.. I don't know how much of this "motivation" is actually because your ass wants to workout haha but even if it's for one day, Then Hey… you freaking did it!
Conclusion: Buying new workout clothes DOES motivate a workout. How long that motivation last… well, that's questionable! But nonetheless…. start small and make daily progress and changes.
