Street Style for Summer Heat

With this blazing heat going on these days, its honestly very difficult to style a SIMPLE on the go outfit but still look cute. What I typically love to do when it is super hot outside is to wear my favorite high waisted Levis with a regular top, add a belt and just run out the door. The high waist vibe accompanied by a belt of your choice gives the look more style.. as if you stood in front of your closet and thought the outfit out. I mean if you have no life like me..well then I guess waisting time isn’t such a bad thing to do lol.. but most people have jobs and a on the go lives (jealous lol) and therefor don’t have time to linger and try on a million things. This will allow you to look stylish and cool.. to say the least, and it suits all body shapes and types., Honestly though.. anything high waisted does that for all woman. I mean.. can you imagine a life without HIGHWAISTED pants, skirts, shorts.. etc.. what a sad wardrobe that would be haha.

Muffin top and Love handle ladies.. where you at? Im right there with you.. lol!!

3 Outfits for UNDER $100… girls cheap guid to trendy fashion!!!

Now a days.. I feel like every other day there is a new trend happening or you walk into a store love something and buy it, regret it two days later because more things were added to their collection. Well, at least thats how I am lol. What does this have to do with the topic at hand.. good fucking question lol. I swear I get side tracked so easily. Basically what I am trying to say here is that I think and KNOW it is very possible to stretch your hard earned cash and make the most of the items you add to your closet. Turn 3 Dresses into multiple different looks and use them for day OR night. Why be limited right. So here is what I did right?!!! I just filmed a video of three dresses that I purchased UNDER $60 dollars guys… yes thats UNDER SIXTY DOLLARS… haha I love to be extra! but really, its true.. and all these dresses can be worn during the day with sandals or dressed up with heels and some fab accessories. Want to see how…??? But of course you do. I mean the second dress I share.. its worth the watch!

Here… right here… click the link and watch away and be amazed (haha again, being extra).

Wide Leg Jean Trend… dig it?

I must say… to my own surprise actually, I DIG IT. I just got the coolest pair for myself the other day. I typically don’t vibe with the new trends these young celebs are wearing but I am all for this old school 80’s trend. I have always loved a good wide leg, as some refer to as boot leg lol.. right, anyway.. I love the trend. I always loved a wide leg high waisted pant with high heels though, I just think that makes you look so long and skinny and just chic.. but this new wide leg above the ankle trend… YUP, DIGGING IT. So the jeans I got, I can’t wait to style them in so many ways when I get bak to LA. Every time I buy a new pair of clothes or shoes.. in my mind I literally style it a hundred different ways, how ill wear it, with what, where, when..colors, patterns.. you name it.. its like I get this freaking vision board of looks I am going to style with the item in my head as I am buying and after I have bought. Does anyone else do that??? lol.

Persian Kebab with Salad Shirazi over Buttered Bread

Hey guys… so if you watch my youtube Channel Sonya Sed you know that I absolutely love to cook and bake. Its just my thing you know.. like we all have our “thing” and this is mine. For me cooking or baking is more then just feeding my family.. it genuinely makes me happy. I feel so relaxed and in my own world when I am in the kitchen, its where I feel disconnected with the world and in tune with my own.. its amazing. I love to try new flavor combinations, make dishes from other ethnicities, make dishes that make my pallet explode…and within it all.. never forgetting to add my own personality.. food with a kick of Sonya. LoL.

On you youtube channel linked above, I share a step by step video of how to make this meal. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. If you love meat or middle eastern food.. this dish won’t disappoint.. I promise!! On the Blog however I will write down ingredients needed and instructions.. That way you can just print this out and follow along while watching my video to make sure you have no failures. haha lets get to it.

INGREDIENTS USED;

  • 500g ground beef/burger meet
  • 2 white onions
  • 1 cucumber
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Turmeric
  • 2 Lemons
  • Salt/Black Pepper
  • optional: Sabzi powder
  • Salted Butter
  • Flat bread of choice

INSTRUCTIONS KEBAB:

  • In a large bowl grate 1 onion and remove the excise liquid.
  • Add in ground beef
  • Add in Turmeric, Salt (generous amount) and Pepper
  • With your hand mix them altogether as you would a dough.
  • In a non stick pan spread the meat flat making sure it is even in size so it cooks at the same time. Cut the Kebab into 4 sections, this step is very important because it acts as a ventilation for the meat to cook properly and so it doesn’t puff up and form   a disaster. (Watch video to see how I did this).
  • Add the pan over high heat and let it fry for about 1 to 2 minutes covered till the water from the meat is cooked through.. once this time has lapsed add in about 60ml of water.. not much. Cover on low heat and let this slowly cook for 45min, if you feel it is getting dry add in more water in small segments. Once time has lapsed, flip the Kebab and cut in 1 tomato adding this around it. Cover and let sit on very low heat for another 10minutes. Depending on how well done you like your meat, feel free to cut into it and see how you like it. My husband likes his meat very very well done so I generally cook it for much longer. Once cooked, in a dish add flat bread of choice with some butter over top, add in the kebab and tomatoes and cover with another buttered bread. Seal it with foil.. allowing all those meat and tomato juices to seep into the buttered bread.

INSTRUCTIONS SALAD SHIRZAZI

  • In a salad bowl cut in, 2 tomatoes, Cucumber and 1 onion. When you cut them, try to cut them all into the same size so you get an equal bit full of each rather then a larger piece of onion or tomato. Once cut, add in the juice of 1 and a half or 2 lemons depending on size.. disregarding the seeds for this will give a slight Bitter taste to the juice. Add in salt, pepper and Sabzi flakes if you wish.. that is completely optional. Give it a good mix and let it sit for 30min in the fridge.. or not lol.. if your impatient like me.. and enjoy!!!!

Let’s talk Hair. Go “long” or go home!?

I have had long hair pretty much my whole life. With the exception of my younger days when my mom would turn me into a boy with the hair cuts she would get me sighh*. I think that scared me for life and now I am just terrified to go short. Or am I?

I LOVE short hair. And honestly if I had smooth sleek hair that wasn’t so thick I would have cut it all off a long time ago. My shortest length was a little under my shoulders a couple years ago and I loved it (feelings were not mutual as far as my husband goes lol). Short hair is so chic in my opinion. I think it pulls a look together so nicely and just screams mature. Okay without trying to offend anyone here… long hair is only nice when you have full voluminess  hair that is healthy. I see so many grow their thin brittle dead hair long and it completely ages the person. Hair like that should be cut short with full of mixed layers and only blow dried. YAS!

Nonetheless there are some cons to long hair. It’s very difficult to maintain. It gets stuck everywhere. It’s annoying to sleep with. It uses up two bottles of conditioner a month (which is a lot for me) and it’s super heavy. So I’m pretty conflicted as if to cut it short and take that leap into the short hair club again!!?!?

Before I leave let me give you my major tips for long healthy hair for those of you seeking to achieve just that.

  1. ONLY wash your hair once a week
  2. Do NOT flat iron your hair. Use a blow drier and wait till your hair is damp-dry NOT wet
  3. Use a good argon oil on the tips of your hair after showers and after blow drying.

I mean really guys, invest in a good shower cap and use it. You will love the results, I swear by it.

The fashion fall down…literally

Ahhh yes. In fashion sometimes we take risks, sometimes we take pain and sometimes we just tumble and eat sh**…on the bright side of things however I got to wear my new platform shoes!

Typically I love mixing high end items with much more affordable items. I actually do this on a daily basis and it works so nicely that way. Sometimes to much of a brandy outfit just doesn’t look good…almost like you are trying to hard, yah know?! Example: A Gucci logo shirt paired with Gucci jeans with the visible snake stitch and Louboutins and that Louis Vuitton bag you just got. In my opinion that looks like you are trying way to hard. I personally Love making my less expensive clothes look expensive so when a random person says wow I love your top where is it from.. I can share where and how much I go it from, oh and tell them it’s still available so goooo get it!!!

This day I wore basically Zara from head to toe. Jeans and men’s sweater is by Zara as well as my new platform shoes, which I loved. Jacket is by True Religion and bag is Louis Vuitton. I love simple outfits that are comfortable with a hint of statement attached to it. And really I just dress my mood, which most people do.

The day was going great. My fashion photographer (a.k.a my husband) was taking my photo and I’m not sure how but I managed to roll down all those stairs.. get up and trip and fall again. Not only did I trip on my shoes because they are so clumpy but I was also gifted with a blister behind my foot the size of a golf ball… yea I’m still recovering from that blister!!! However, aside from all that fashion is about taking risks and risks sometimes come with pain and suffer or joy and glam. We cant always be winners!!!

Until my next tumble…XoXo

Starting Fresh later in the year works to!!,2017′

Why does everyone say January first is going to be a fresh start for me.. well let’s state the obvious here, it’s because it’s a new year, new you and time to set those new goals into effect. I must admit I too have made such promises and goals to myself… sometimes successful and sometimes far from it, but this year I realized that even if a few months pass and you take action later on in the year, it doesn’t count any less then if it was the first of the month….as long as it progress!! Who’s with me on this!?

I recently took a moment and really thought what I want to accomplish this year and what I truly love doing. What makes you happy!? Do you ever really ask yourself that? And do you have an answer that satisfys you when you say it in your head? Anyway, I see so many bloggers who are married AND have a new born baby (or more) and I thought… well if they can manage with xy&z then I can as well”. Let me elaborate.. I always wanted to blog and vlog and be one with the fashion industries… I left law school because it just didn’t make me happy. I ended up getting married to my best friend and the love of my life and because I am fortunate enough to not have to work I was left with a lot of time on my hands so to speak.

The past couple of months have been very exciting… well actually the past year. I want so bad to share what is to come but that would take the excitement out of things now wouldn’t it. We for some odd reason push harder to achieve a goal when we know there is a sense of suspense behind the outcome of sharing what we have been hiding… right!?  Anyway… it feels great to be writing again. Be sure to follow my YouTube channel SonyaTutorials for what’s to come.

If you love honesty, real life shit and fashion… you are on the right bloggers page!

How to blog: Removing color transfer on Luxury handbags 👍🏼

This little tip right here saved me wasting a perfectly beautiful Chanel Bag. I am also not going to take any credit for this AMAZINGNESS… One of my youtube subscribers mentioned it worked for her and I tried it… And of course it was a charm!!!

So basically if you are totally lost in the world and aren’t following me on Instagram Fashionbloggertogo or my YouTube channel SonyaTutorials then you have no clue what I’m talking about and before you go hunt it down… I will share exactly what you need to know!!! Look at me saving you guys time and energy hahaha!!

Okay, I made a video about my rare Chanel Boy in pastel pink. I never used it often but the few times I did use it there was major color transfer going on behind the bag. Which when you spend thousands on a bag is FUCKING SAD! So, I went and made a full hate video on the bag lol typical female shit and got a lot of comments. This one girl recently commented and said she has the same problem and did 🤐 to fix it!! Mind you, I had already taken my bag into two different Chanel stores and both turned me down when I asked if it can be removed or fixed… Yah right assholes

What did she recommend??!? She told me she had tried everything on her light Chanel bag as well and finally found a cure lol… Bro, I’m so dramatic right now no??!? Okay so she said “use a cotton ball and nail polish remover and it will come off” I was like this girl is tripping… Take acetone to my $$$$$ bag!!! Well, desperate times call for…. ya so I tried it yesterday and OMG THIS GIRL IS A HERO!! She has no idea I’m even writing a whole blog about her lol but man she deserves the attention and a big hug and kiss lol!!!

Conclusion: If you have a bag you love that is light in color try this method and you will be amazed at the outcome.

P.S I am selling this bag however if you are interested in a big discounted Chanel bag let me know!
